Hub South West has appointed Robertson Construction Central West as the preferred Tier 1 contractor for Irvine’s new £ 12.5m primary school, which is scheduled to open in 2023.
The new school will support the continued expansion of new homes in the catchments of Montgomery Park and Najar Hill.
The new facility is non-denominational and runs into 12 classes. There are also early learning and childcare classes with 32 spaces for 3 to 5 years old and 15 spaces for 2 years old.
It is funded as part of a £ 2 billion learning real estate investment program focused on providing a high quality, sustainable, low carbon, digital learning environment that supports sustainable and comprehensive economic growth. I am.
Sean Sands, Project Director at Hub Southwest, said:
“The school is scheduled to open in August 2023 and aims to achieve an annual figure of 67 kwh per square meter, in line with the Scottish Government’s goal of achieving a net zero-carbon by 2030.”
