I’m the world’s hairiest bloke dubbed ‘Wolf Man’ with 98% of my body covered & people all ask the same stupid thing

Being the tallest guy in the world is inevitably accompanied by strange looks and stares – but it’s the same recurring question he can not stand.
Larry Gomez’s body is 98 percent covered with fluffy dark locks – earned him the nickname “Wolf Man“.
He was born with an incredibly rare condition, hypertrichosis, which causes excessive hair growth – meaning that even his face is silvered in a thick coat.
A number of his family members also suffer from the genetic disorder, also known as “Werewolf Syndrome”, which affects less than 100 people worldwide.
But despite years of bullying and taunts, brave Larry, of San Bernardino, Californiahas finally learned to love the skin in which he is.
The former circus artist now wears his title as the world’s tallest man as a badge of honor – saying it feels “special” to him.

Larry explained: “Not many people in the world have this condition – I believe six or eight people – and I’m the worst.
“Being one of the hottest guys in the world makes me special and I’m famous too.”
But while he cherishes himself in the glory of his astonishing tresses, he is constantly plagued by fearful circumstances that parrot the same annoying question.
Larry joked: “People ask if it’s itch. No, this is my normal life.
“A lot of people ask me questions like, ‘Were you born that way?’ or: ‘how do you live with this?’
“And I say well, I have to live with this, because I have it and I know no other way.
“This is my normal life, do you know what I’m saying?”
His striking appearance did not deter his wife Alicia Martinez, whom he met when he was looking for an apartment in 2011.
Larry hopes to use his remarkable story to inspire others to be comfortable in their own skin.
He appeared on the YouTube channel ‘Wizard of Odd TV’, to share his wisdom and stories of the Wolf Man.
Filmmaker Travis Hoefle flew out of Chicago to see his beautiful moon in person.
He said of Larry: “He is a very nice man and loves to make jokes. I can tell you that he is a very caring person and a real family man.
“Wolf Man’s outlook on life is very positive and inspiring – life is hard, but you have to make the best of it every day.
“Larry has three other family members who suffer from the condition, spread over five generations.

“The women are covered with a light to medium coat of hair, while the men of the family have thick hair, which covers most of their bodies.”
Travis explained that the ex-circus artist takes care of his hair once a month, “but it always grows back fairly quickly.”
