Hiring Our Heroes: Virtual Career Fair Town Hall

FRESNO (KFSN) — KFSN-TV is partnering with the US Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s Hiring Our Heroes initiative and the Disney Veterans Institute for a virtual town hall on August 10th.

The goal of this town hall is to prepare job seekers from the military community for the Hiring Our Heroes – Virtual Career Fair on August 31st.

We’ll be joined by a panel of experts to answer questions live about how to help veterans and military spouses successfully transition into a civilian career.

Panels include:

  • Cappy Surette – Senior Director, Executive and External Communications at Disney Parks, Experiences and Products and retired US Navy Captain
  • Meredith Lozar – Vice President, Military & Veterans Affairs at JPMorgan Chase & Co. and spouse of an active duty member of the US Marine Corps
  • Phil Martin – Director of Talent Acquisition at Enterprise Holdings, Inc. and former US Marine
  • Sonia Garza – Military Spouse Scholarship Program Manager at the US Chamber of Commerce Foundation recruiting our heroes and our active duty US Army Special Forces spouse
  • Beau Higgins – Senior Director, Military Affairs at Amazon.com and retired US Marine Corps officer
