Highway 50 traffic near Echo Summit clear after fallen boulder

Another boulder fell on Highway 50 in El Dorado County, affecting traffic to and from South Lake Tahoe. The CHP said the boulder came off near the Echo Summit around 8am on Wednesday and landed on the highway. Another rock fell on Highway 50 in El Dorado County, affecting traffic to and from South Lake Tahoe.

The CHP said the boulder came out near the Echo Summit around 8am on Wednesday and landed on the highway.

Caltrans has since cleared the road of boulders.
