HESPERIA, California (VVNG.com) – Deputies shot and killed the suspect after receiving a call on Tuesday over domestic violence.
San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Deputies were first called around 11:26 a.m. on March 29, 2022, to a house on Block 9900 on 9th Avenue near Sultana Street near a house alert, Sheriff’s spokeswoman Mara Rodriguez told Victor Valley News.
According to a nearby tenant, authorities tried to contact the man in the house, but the man refused to come out.
“While he was on the spot, there was a shooting at the deputy who participated,” Rodriguez said. “The suspect man was pronounced dead on the spot.”
Rodriguez said that no deputies were injured, and apart from the suspect, there are no other reports of injuries.
Part of the 8900 block of 9th Avenue between Sultana and Mesquite was closed during the investigation.
The specialized investigation department is currently conducting an investigation and there is no more information for now.
