Health and wellness apps maker Palta raises $100M Series B led by VNV Global – TechCrunch

Health and wellness app startup PartaRaised $ 100 million in a Series B round led by PerBrillioth of VNV Global with the participation of Target Global and other existing and new investors. Cash is used to generate more existing products such as Flo.Health, Simple Fasting and Zing Fitness Coach.

Palta claims that the app has 2.4 million active paid subscribers.

“Mobile and preventive health services are the future of the medical industry,” said Per Brillioth, CEO of VNV Global. “As a result, Palta has demonstrated the ability to develop and extend a wide range of major mobile subscription products.”

Headquartered in London and with offices in Munich, Vilnius, Warsaw and elsewhere, the company states that the majority of its revenue comes from customers in the United States (60%) and Western Europe (20%).
