Harrison Ford made a surprise appearance at the Star Wars Celebration at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California on Thursday, for next year Indiana Jones movie.

The Hollywood icon, 79, made a cameo amid a Lucasfilm presentation in which he spoke about the fifth episode of the Indiana Jones series.

The Oscar-nominated actor, famous for playing Han Solo in the Star Wars movies, made an entrance when the famous composer and conductor John Williams led an orchestra while playing the theme of Raiders of the Lost Ark, Entertainment Weekly reported.

Last: Harrison Ford, 79, made a surprise appearance Thursday at the Star Wars Celebration at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California, ahead of next year’s Indiana Jones movie.

Ford told fans: ‘It’s a special honor for me to be able to congratulate John on his 90th birthday. I told John on another occasion when we had the chance to be together that that music follows me everywhere I go.

‘And you know what? I’m happy about that. That music was playing on the operating room speakers when I had my last colonoscopy … I kept going. ‘

Ford spoke kindly of the legendary composer, telling the audience, “We’re almost finished the next Indiana Jones movie, featuring the music of John Williams.”

The actor said he had ‘a wonderful experience working’ with director James Mangold and producers Kathy Kennedy and Frank Marshall on the project.

“I’m really proud of the movie we made,” Ford said. “So, I see you on campus.”

Thursday’s event was the convention’s first personal gathering since 2019, as the venue was filled with Star Wars fans wearing costumes of popular characters in the franchise.

Other notable performances at the start of the four-day meeting included Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen of Obi-Wan Kenobi who appeared for a choir that sang Duel of the Fates song.

Yvette Nicole Brown served as moderator for the panel, which includes discussion on upcoming projects such as Skeleton Crew, Andor, and Willow.
