Gov. Newsom, state leaders announce agreement on 2022-23 California budget

On Sunday night, Newsom and several state leaders announced that they had reached an agreement on the state budget 2022-2023.
It includes a $ 17 billion inflation relief package that will offer tax refunds to millions of Californian workers.
It will also provide $ 350 to those earning less than $ 75,000 per year.
Those who do more than this will also receive less immediate payment.
In addition, the package would include a suspension of the state tax on diesel sales and additional money to help people with rent and utility bills.
