GM is making another attempt to fix the problems it had with Terrain and Equinoxhave the same problem. It seems odd that the company hasn’t addressed the root cause of the problem in subsequent model years, but here we are. This time, 681,509 terrains and equinoxes are affected.
To fix this problem, your Chevrolet or GMC The dealer will inspect the vehicle’s wiper module and replace it if they find corrosion. Like all recalls, it is free. GM anticipates that owners of affected vehicles will be notified by mail on or about May 2, 2022.
