Firefighters respond to a fire at a building in the Old Town of Victorville on Saturday – VVNG.com

VICTORVILLE, California (VVNG.com) – The Victorville Fire Department along with the Apple Valley Fire Department responded to a fire inside a vacant building in Victorville Old Town.

It happened on Saturday, March 5, 2022, at 12.25 pm, when the dispatcher received a call for the building from which smoke was coming out, which is located on the corner of C and 11 streets, near the Victor Valley Memorial Park.

Firefighters arrived on the scene and quickly worked to stop and prevent the spread of the construction fire.

Despite the amount of smoke visible in the area, the fire was contained inside the building, avoiding spreading and external damage to the structure.

Three fire brigades were used to put out the fire coming from inside the building. The cause of the fire is unknown and an investigation is underway.
