Firefighters put out a small fire on the Cajon pass on Wednesday night – VVNG.com

CAJON PASS, California (VVNG.com) – Fire crews worked quickly to put out a small fire on Cajon Pass on Wednesday night.

On March 23, 2022, at about 8:06 p.m., the dispatch received reports of multiple fires along the I-15 highway heading north, near Kenwood Avenue.

According to the records of the California patrol incident on the highway, the muffler of the exhaust pipe caused a fire in the forest next to the road.

San Bernardino County Fire Department and U.S. Forest Service firefighters responded to the incident and reported that they had three small fires at the scene, the largest of which is approximately 10 × 30.

A video sent by VVNG sent to Nataly Gonzales shows the flames pushing upwards towards the hillside.

No. 1 lane was closed while firefighters worked to put out the fire and all hotspots.

The CHP made contact with the vehicle just before Highway 395 off the ramp. The driver cooperated with the police officer before he was allowed to leave.
