Firefighters put down a fire for a camper that was burning in the yard of a house in Victorville – VVNG.com

VICTORVILLE, CA (VVNG.com) — A truck in the yard of a Victorville home burst into flames and sent a plume of black smoke into a clear blue sky Thursday afternoon.

A residential structure fire was reported at approximately 4:02 p.m., July 7, 2022, in the 16300 block of Cabrillo Drive near Seneca Road.

Firefighters from Victorville City Fire arrived on scene and reported that the campsite was fully engulfed and the fire had spread to a nearby shed.

Southern California Edison was asked to expedite a response due to power lines running across the back yard and along the fence.

The cause of the accident is currently under investigation. Additional information will be updated as it becomes available.
