Fire swallows industrial commercial building –

Industry — Firefighters fought more than three hours of defensive battles against the flames that swallowed the industry’s 10,000-square-foot building before extinguishing the flames early Saturday.

According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, the fire was reported at 1250 Bixby Drive around 8:50 pm on Friday.

According to officials, the on-site commander requested reinforcements on a second alert mission at 8:57 pm.

Firefighters watered the building from the ground and aerial ladder to protect nearby structures, officials said.

At 9:10 pm, officials said the left front corner of the building could have collapsed and firefighters were returned from the area. After that, the entire roof collapsed.

According to the agency, the fire knockdown was called on Saturday at 12:24 am.

No injuries have been reported.
