Fire Damages 10 Vehicles at Logan Heights Tow Yard

Ten vehicles were damaged in a fire at a towing yard in Logan Heights on Saturday, fire officials said.

The fire started at 12:57 pm on Saturday in the Road One tow, at block 3300 of the National Avenue, according to a San Diego Fire Department diary.

Two small recreational vehicles were completely engulfed in flames and the fire spread to other vehicles parked in the towing area. At around 13:45, firefighters put the fire under control.

There were no reports of injuries and the cause was not immediately established.

Three fire engines, an aqueduct, a fire truck and a doctor rushed to the scene with a total of 20 firefighters at the scene.

San Diego police have cordoned off a section of National Avenue.
