We have been working with Slo-Be since 2020 and knew early on that his work ethic and care for his craft would take him far. He saw his most mainstream success with his song ‘I Love You’ which went viral on TikTok, but he leaves behind a strong catalog of multiple albums and a cult following that has followed him for years. “We had high hopes for Young Slo-Be’s career and looked forward to doing more great work together. This senseless act of violence has taken a man from his family and leaves a huge void in the West Coast music community. We hope to see a day where this is not so common. He will be greatly missed”. Fans told KCRA 3 they’re upset Young Slo-Be’s continued rise in the music industry was cut short. “I feel like he had so much potential,” said the Young Slo-Be fan. “He was like an up-and-coming artist … he could have been something much bigger, too.” Officials do not believe this was a random act of violence and the shooter is still at large.
