SAN DIEGO (KOUSI) – A teenage Poway teenager and her dog were found safe after an extensive scan that began when her disappearance was announced on Tuesday.
Teen Cassidy Chan from Poway was spotted Wednesday afternoon after investigators combed the area where she was last seen.
The 13-year-old left her house with her dog for a walk and could not return when her family reported her missing.
An app called Life360, a family-friendly social networking app released in 2008, can be used to track the location of your loved ones to make sure they return home safe.
Good evening in San Diego, Ginger Jeffries of KUSI spoke with Ryan M. Karkenny, Deputy Attorney General, about how this app could help locate your missing family members in your hands.
