Elon Musk Declares He’s a Republican, Expects ‘Dirty Tricks’ from Democrats

Elon Musk may be on the Twitter fence, but he knows exactly where he’s politically … he’s becoming a full-fledged Republican.

The richest man in the world says he has long supported the Democratic Party, which he said was formerly a “kindness party.” But he adds, “They have become a party of division and hatred, so I can no longer support them and vote for the Republican.”

Elon posted his political statement on Twitter on Wednesday – even like him still thinking a massive $ 44 billion purchase of the platform – which would seem to muddy the waters surrounding the purchase.

As we’ve reported, Musk believes Twitter may be the flagship of free speech … and has already said that he believes the ban Donald Trump was deceived, and that he did let him come back Twitter.

Publicity with his new GOP membership is sure to raise more than a few eyebrows … especially on Twitter.

For now, Elon says he’s still doing research on Twitter before he presses the trigger. As for his political turnaround – he says he now expects Democrats to launch a “campaign of dirty tricks” against him.
