Almost 30 years of Elk Grove resident Shin Allen, who also served on the Elk Grove Unified School District Board of Directors for eight years, already has over $ 100,000 in cash for the campaign.
She said she had already received early approval from the Sacramento Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce Political Action Committee, the Sacramento Regional Business Association, and the Sacramento Regional Builders Exchange.
“There is strong support from (there) early support from business and labor,” Shin Allen said. “And that’s really important to me, because you can be a strong supporter of both. I strongly support working families, but businesses invest in our city. We also know that we need a very strong and positive work environment where we can and our business can thrive. “
The mayor said he would continue to focus on the many issues that campaigned in 2020, defeating incumbent Steve Lee.
One of her biggest problems is strengthening the business community.

Singh-Allen has identified himself as a strong supporter of the Elk Grove small business community.

Another important issue for Shin Allen is public safety.
“Elk Grove is a safe place to live. We want to build strong partnerships with public security groups so that our community feels safe,” she said.
Singh-Allen said she would work to improve Elk Grove’s housing situation if re-elected.
“Our working families deserve to live and work in the communities they serve,” she said. “As the cost of homes has just risen, we want to create homeownership opportunities in our community, as well as affordable homes related to renting.”
She further noted her desire to provide developers with affordable housing opportunities and encourage them to continue to find ways to support the city’s homeless population.
Singh-Allen also addressed traffic congestion as one of her biggest problems.
“It’s still important for me to work on improving traffic and alleviating traffic congestion,” she said.
She said she advocates bringing a light rail to Elk Grove to deepen ties with the region.

Singh-Allen said he is proud of the many projects he completed during his tenure. Among those projects are the refurbishment of Old Town Plaza last year and the improvements along Railroad Street.
She also expressed excitement for the Project Elevate Shopping Center project and the Wilton Rancheria Sky River Casino, which is due to open this fall.
Singh-Allen calls these projects “great amenities for our city.”
The mayor, who also serves as a state-wide committee member for the visit to California, said he was more passionate about the possibility of relocating the Sacramento Zoo to Elk Grove. City staff and the Sacramento Zoo Association are currently investigating the possibility of establishing a zoo near the future intersection of Lotz Parkway and Kamala Road in southern Elk Grove.
Singh Allen told the public that Elk Grove voters should confidently re-election her as mayor.
