Driver injured in collision leaving car wash in Hesperia – VVNG.com

HESPERIA, California (VVNG.com) – A Ford Mustang passing through a self-service car wash in Hesperia hit a wall as it exited the cleaning room on Friday morning, leaving the driver and co-driver unharmed.

The vehicle was getting off the washing rack at the Xpress car wash in block 14,000 of Main Street, near Topaz Road, when the driver collided.

“It is completely self-service, so there were no injured workers, the driver would have to put it in a neutral position while he was washing, maybe they pressed the gas instead of the brakes,” said the employee.

Instead of turning right to get out of the car wash tunnel, Ford crashed right into the wall, broke through the section and punched a hole through the brick.

Fire departments did not immediately know the degree of injuries to drivers or passengers.

No one else was injured in the accident.
