Driver catapulted and killed after SUV crashed off 15 highways identified as 21-year-old from Victorville – VVNG.com

VICTORVILLE, California (VVNG.com) – The driver who catapulted and died in a collision when overturning has been identified Brandon VolkA 21-year-old Victorville resident.

It happened on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, around 19:44, along block 11500 Amargos Road, near the main entrance to the Desert View Memorial Park.

Brandon was behind the wheel of a 2004 green GMC Yukon heading south on the I-15 at an unknown speed.

For reasons still unknown, the SUV overturned and crashed through a drainage ditch and a perimeter fence before stopping on the Amargos road.

Brandon was ejected from the SUV and declared deceased at the scene at 7:55 p.m.

Amargosa Road was closed for several hours near the restaurant and Live Oak Street in Hesperia.

According to a post on Facebook of Brandon’s grandmother, he will become a dad in June.

The CHP Victorville station is investigating the crash and anyone with information is asked to call 760-241-1186.
