Los Angeles — UCLA Quarterback Dorian Thompson-If it was Robinson’s last match at the Rose Bowl, he tried to find some of his favorite targets in the end zone on his way out.

Honored as one of 21 seniors before the match, Thompson-Robinson completed a touchdown pass to receiver Kyle Phillips and tight-end Greg Drucchich in the second half, with Bruins 42-14. Cal helped to score 32 straight points on the way to victory.

The quarterback will throw his longest touchdown pass to Dalchitch for a 29-yard touchdown.

Philips caught two 4-yard touchdown passes from Thompson-Robinson, converting the first defensive back Jay Shaw’s passcut into points and extending Bruins’ lead in the second quarter.

The show intercepted the Cal Quarterback Chase Gerbers pass in the first quarter before returning the ball 18 yards to the Golden Bears 40-yard line.

Safety Quentin Lake also intercepted the Gerbers at the last moment of the second quarter, preventing Cal from having the opportunity to regain the lead before half-time.

UCLA’s defenses will continue to overwhelm Gerber in the second half.

Linebacker Bo Calvert dismissed the quarterback three downs with a loss of nine yards. Edgerusher Mitchell Agudo dismissed the Gerbers in 4th and 16th and pushed Cal down to the ball.

The Golden Bears were able to take advantage of their extra possessions as a result of the first half turnover.

Christopher Brooks’ running back put the Golden Bears on the scoreboard in the second quarter with a 14-yard touchdown run remaining at 8:58.
