Disney Cruise Line honored the Make-A-Wish children of the past, present and future in the famous role of the godfathers for Disney Wish, redefining the long-standing naval tradition of naming a “godmother”.
Colby, 10; Megan, 16; and Jenna, 13, were Wednesday’s ambassadors.
The baptism was also attended by Tony’s award-winning entertainer Anika Noni Rose, the Disney legend best known for Tiana’s voice in “The Princess and the Frog”, who performed the ballad “Wishes”.
And the fun culminated with a ritual breaking of a champagne bottle.
The Wish has 1,200 entertaining rooms for adults and children, including Star Wars, Frozen, Marvel and more.

The ship also has Disney’s first seaside attraction – the AquaMouse. This is a water adventure where guests can ride a 760-foot-high water slide that spins around the ship.
Disney CEO Bob Chapek says nearly a century of Disney magic has been reflected around the ship.
“Disney Wish embodies the incredible magic that only Disney can offer,” said Chapek. “It celebrates almost 100 years of excellence in Disney storytelling, bringing to life fantasy worlds and beloved characters like never before through innovative technologies and new approaches.”
Disney Wish will set sail on July 14.
