Narrated by two-time Oscar nominee Catherine Keeneer, Disneynature“Polar Bear” tells the story of a young mother, whose memories of her youth prepare her to navigate motherhood in the increasingly difficult world that polar bears face today. Stream “Polar Bear” in Disney + starting with Earth Day, Friday 22 April.

Explorer: The Last Tepui
The special for Earth Day Disney + “Explorer: The Last Tepui”, by National Geographic, follows select climber Alex Honnold and a world-class climbing team led by National Geographic Explorer and climber Mark Synnott on a grueling expedition deep into the Amazon jungle as they attempt a first ascent of a 1,000-foot cliff. Their goal is to deliver the legendary National Geographic biologist and explorer Bruce Means to the top of a huge “island in the sky” known as tepui to search for undiscovered species. The secrets of whales

Disney Animals: In the Funhouse shorts take kids and families on a wild ride around the world to explore Disney animals in their habitats. In April, two new short films will premiere Disney Junior YouTube and DisneyNOW. The episode “Trees” aired on Tuesday, April 5th and the episode “Farm” will premiere on Tuesday, April 26th.
