Dave Chappelle Buys Ohio Land from Developer After Town Hall Rant

Dave Chappelle is the new owner of a large property … a purchase he made to prevent a landlord from moving to the quiet Ohio village that has been his home.
Dave’s representatives confirm that he recently purchased several acres of Yellow Springs, OH land previously owned by Oberer Land Developers, Ltd. – a company that had announced plans to set up a huge subdivision that would have chewed the village on 52 hectares.

As you know, Dave came under gunfire in February when Yellow Springs City Council held a public meeting.
Chappelle made it very clear was opposed Oberer, who progressed on the project, threatened to pull his own business project into the area – a planned restaurant / comedy club called Firehouse Eatery.
The council ended up approving the development work, but now it looks like Dave has blocked – or at least reduced – the distribution plan by hijacking part of Oberer’s assets.
According to a local report, Dave bought at least 19 acres. We’re trying to confirm this because the big question is whether the comedian is still at war with the developer since his last real estate chess move.
