According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office, the fire broke out just before 2 pm on Sunday near the Gorman Post Road and the southbound side of the freeway. A flame burning by a strong wind burning 1,000 acres.
As of Monday morning, the fire was 10 percent contained. Evacuation orders are still issued in the Hungry Valley recreation area.
Currently, there is no damage to the structure.
