To keep the Juneteenth, all San Diego County public offices, family resource centers, libraries and animal shelters will be closed on Monday, June 20th. The county and federal holiday are held June 19 to honor the end of slavery in the United States.
Vaccination and testing facilities for COVID-19 operating in the province and state will remain closed on Sunday and Monday and return to normal hours on Tuesday. Some vaccination and testing clinics will be open. Click on our programs to check which sites are open vaccinations and tests.
Basic services such as law enforcement and emergency control for animal control will continue throughout the holidays.
County parks, campsites and day parks in the neighborhood will remain open, except for the following locations:
- Fallbrook Community Center
- Community center by the lake
- Spring Valley Community Center
- Spring Valley Gymnasium
- 4S Ranch Recreation Office only (all parks will be open)
- Valley Center Recreation Center
- Community Teen Centers
Reservations for camping can always be made online at County Online Camping Reservations Websitebut the Parks and Recreation Department reservation hotline will not be staffed during the holidays.
All county offices will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, June 21st.
