The San Diego County Division Environmental Health and Quality (DEHQ) has lifted water closure and Imperial Beach and Silver Strand shore tips.
Recent water quality tests confirm that transboundary sewage flows are no longer affecting these beaches, which remain open. Recent closures have been extended to Coronado, on beaches near the Hotel del Coronado.
The shoreline from the International Border to the southern end of Seacoast Drive, however, remains closed until sampling is confirmed to be safe for contact.
