Cop: San Jose CA Youth Counselor Charged With Assault Of Girl

A 27-year-old youth counselor has been charged with sexually assaulting a girl in a San Jose school classroom, California police say.

A 27-year-old youth counselor faces multiple sexual assault charges, including one at a San Jose middle school, California police report.

San Jose’s Silvio Yoku Aguilar worked as a counselor City police, along with Hubbard Middle School’s New Hope for Youth organization, said in a news release on Monday, Dec. 5.

The girl told police on November 28 that Yoc-Aguilar had “improper sexual contact” with her in a school classroom.

Officers arrested him on a warrant at his San Jose home the next day, police said.

“We believe there may be additional victims due to the suspect’s position as a trusted person at the school,” police said in a statement.
