Cooling centers open across the Central Valley as temperatures reach triple-digits

Fresno, CA (KFSN) –The Central Valley will be hot on Labor Day weekends. Cooling centers opened on Sundays and Mondays as temperatures are expected to exceed 105 degrees Celsius.

Heat warning: Heatwave moves to Central Valley on Labor Day weekend

As a cooling center in the Central Valley, the following locations will open to help residents escape the heat.

Fresno city officials have stated that the center will not allow the use of recreational facilities or games to avoid the spread of COVID-19. If you are not feeling well, please wait at home.

Fresno FAX buses offer free transportation to and from all cooling centers in the city.
