Christine Brown just made it clear:
She has not just moved on from her spiritual husband.
He has also moved away from the religion and lifestyle he once had Ice with her spiritual husband.
Longtime Sister Wives announced in early November that she was walking out of her marriage after being more than two decades as a partner of Kody Brown, which surprised fans very far at the time.
But then these same fans tuned in a TLC live show for season 16 and saw all the ways Christine and Kody’s marriage crumbled in recent months.
By the end of their time together, Kody and Christine had stopped sleeping together and Christine said she wasn’t going to stay proximity in a free relationship.
Good for him, right?
The mother of six children moved back to her native Utah, and has since said on several occasions that she is VERY happy to do so.
Cut to Wednesday, March 23rd.
In a video shared on her Instagram Stories page, Brown featured her blonde hair – tied in tight French braids on either side of her head.
He then cast an unexpected tone on his former belief system and asked in front of the camera:
“Why can some people pull a double French braid, but some can’t? Of course I can’t do as well as my daughter. My daughters may like this so cute, but me?”
Added by Christine:
“I just look polygamous. How ironic!”
I just look polygamous.
Not really support for polygamy, is it?
When Christine was on stage at the Sister Wives Tell All event in February, Christine spoke openly that she no longer belongs to the same church as her ex-wife and ex-sisters.
“Kody and I are divorced. We are completely separate, ”Christine told Sukanya Krishnan as the host, even though Kody had said she would not allow Christine to go through this mental process technically.
The Browns are members of the Apostolic United Brothren, a Mormon group that practices polygamy.
“In our church, polygamous women can leave. They’re not trapped. They can leave if they want to leave and if that doesn’t work,” Christine continued on stage.
At this point he honed his continuing religious position:
They have to go through the right channels and more, but then they can get relief. I have not been a member of that church for a long time and I resigned a long time ago.
So that’s it.
“I just think God is good if I just want to be happy,” Brown stressed.
At one point in the second installment of this same Sister Wives special series, Christine said she felt like a “basement wife” last year, like someone who didn’t care.
“I just decided to let it happen and I decided to be weaker. I just did,” he explained in the broadcast at the time.
“Every day of my life I wake up and I have to make a choice if I’m in a situation like that.
“And after all, I just want to be strong and be like ‘No, no, no, no’ and just cause more controversy … Or I can just say, ‘Okay, okay.’ It’s good. , it’s good, it’s good “and makes it easier.
“But in the end, I lose myself. The cost is me.”
Fortunately, Christine has now found herself.
And Kody seems to be fine with it, even though he becomes a jerk when he confesses so much.
“He’s free from that yolk of slavery, if you will,” Kody said at the reunion and apparently admitted that polygamy is terrible for every woman who practices it.
What is true.
But at least Christine Brown has understood this.
