Los Angeles-Christina Applegate is celebrating its milestone birthday after revealing a diagnosis of multiple sclerosis in August.

Multiple sclerosis affects the central nervous system. It is considered an autoimmune disease in which the immune system attacks its own healthy cells. It affects quality of life and can be incapacitating.

In her announcement earlier this year, the actor known for her role in “Bad Moms,” “Married … with Children,” and “Dead to Me” is not easy to live with this illness. I shared.

“But I’ve been very supportive by people who know I have this condition,” Applegate said. “It was a tough road, but as we all know, the road continues.”

There is no cure for multiple sclerosis (known as MS), but many people can manage their symptoms after diagnosis and adapt to new lifestyles.

Researchers believe that the disease is the result of both environmental and genetic factors, but the underlying cause is unknown.
