Guloy was driving under the influence when he collided with the vehicle containing the couple and their three children, according to evidence presented at a July 2019 hearing, at which he was ordered to stand trial.
The victim’s vehicle crashed into the central compartment and was then hit by another vehicle.
Guloy fled the scene of the crash and later told police his vehicle had been stolen, according to the District Attorney’s Office.
