Chicago Transit Authority releases new Pride train design

Chicago, Illinois-The Chicago Transit Authority has released a new design for the Pride Train to celebrate Pride Month. It is the fifth year of CTA to decorate the train in the light of pride month.

Irene Ferradaz, CTA’s media representative, said:

This year’s design includes the “Philly Flag,” which represents the black and brown communities of the LGBTQ + community. As transgender issues and rights have moved to the forefront in the last few years, the CTA also included transgender flags featuring blue, pink and white colors. The train lap is sponsored by Mirror Light.

CTA riders can expect to ride the pride train on the Red Line, the most used rail line. The pride lap is expected to continue until the Chicago Pride Parade in October.
