Cat food brand Fancy Feast is expanding into cat-inspired human cuisine, with an Italian restaurant in New York designed to celebrate the company’s new line. Gatto Bianco, meaning ‘white cat’, is described by Fancy Feast as ‘Italian-style. trattoria” and will be open for dinner reservations only Aug. 11-12, according to a news release from Purina, which makes Fancy Feast. The human-friendly dishes are inspired by its new line of “Medleys” cat food Fancy Feast, features options like “Beef Ragú Recipe With Tomatoes & Pasta in a Savory Sauce” for the cat with a discerning palate. Only a lucky few will get the chance to try the Gatto Bianco pop-up, located among the Far West Village of Manhattan and the Meatpacking District. The experience is limited to a total of 16 guests, who will enjoy a complimentary tasting menu at no charge. Only a lucky few will get the chance to try the Gatto Bianco pop-up, located between Manhattan’s Far West Village and the Meatpacking District.
