Canadians, Americans Boycotting Russian Vodka Amid Ukraine Invasion

Americans and Canadians gather to give up bad habit – squeeze a liter of Russian vodka in protest Putinn attack on Ukraine … hoping to send a message.
Of course, President Biden and other world powers are already imposing sanctions on Russia to prevent Putin from continuing to take power – but if that weren’t enough … local liquor stores and restaurant entrepreneurs will also play their part in the heavy fall.

And we’re also not talking about the momentary – business owners from Oregon to Vegas and Vermont – and maybe soon even Virginia – are emptying their Russian-based spirits into the sink and streets. .. just to show solidarity with the Ukrainians.
Bill McCormick – who runs the Pine Tavern in Bend, OR – gave an interview to KTVZ21 to explain why he knocked out brands like Stolichnaya and others … and said he didn’t want to support any side of the Russian administration, even if it meant selling less than one drink .
Sorry @Stoli sweethearts. No more.

Same thing with the guys at Vegas ’Evel Pie pizzeria … who posted a picture of emptying Russian Standard bottles right on the sidewalk, among other brands. People at Magic Mountain Ski Resort in Londonberry, VT will also follow suit.
Another place that speaks out loud … Southern Spirits in Fort Mill, SC – who posted something on Facebook and said they were avoiding advertising Russian products.
They write, “We’re selling down our current warehouse, but moving the screens off the floor. Instead, we’ll continue to advertise and transport Kozak, an excellent vodka from Ukraine. Thank you for your understanding.”
As we said … Canada is also participating in the boycott, as the provincial authorities, which handle most of the import and sale of alcohol, announce the bans in their own backyards.
📢 Newfoundland and Labrador Liquor Corporation, along with other distilleries throughout Canada, has decided to remove products of Russian origin from the shelves. These include Russian Standard Vodka and Russian Standard Platinum Vodka.

The Newfoundland and Labrador Liquor Corporation expressed exactly this when writing … “Newfoundland and Labrador Liquor Corporation, along with other distilleries throughout Canada, has decided to remove products of Russian origin from the shelves. These include Russian Standard Vodka and Russian Standard Platinum Vodka.”
There are also Canadian officials associated with the choir, such as the Ontario Minister of Finance – St. Petersburg Bethlenfalvy – expresses its support bans on Russian vodka.
Ontario joins Canadian allies in condemning the Russian government’s attack on the Ukrainian people and directing the LCBO to remove all products made in Russia from store shelves.

Maybe this has an effect after all … the gentleman knows that Russia loves to drink (and sell) its famous potato drink, but what happens when no one wants it ??? Time will tell, we’re sure.
