California drought deepens as wet season is anything but

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) – California is experiencing some of the worst drought to begin in the spring in years.

Data released on Friday showed that water in California’s mountain ice caps was 38% on average.

It is the lowest signal since the end of the last drought in 2015 and only the second lowest since 1988.

Not to mention the heavy rains of April and May, the state’s drought will be deep and could lead to stricter regulations for water use and a fire station.

The state iceberg is at its peak on April 1st.

The sun is used as a symbol to evaluate the state’s estimated water supply during the dry and hot months.

About a third of the state’s water comes from melting.
