California boaters rescue teen girls swept out to sea

Some fishermen are believed to have rescued two teenagers who were swept into the sea. According to Bill Weilbacher, he was fishing for salmon in Monterey Bay when they spotted the teenagers in the water. “We did it,” Weilbacher said in a Facebook post. Weilbacher said the girls were pulled out of a stream after swimming near Salinas Beach in Moss Landing. “As you can see from the video, it was in bad shape, but it will go well,” Weilbacher wrote. A couple of fishermen are believed to have rescued two teenage girls who had been swept into the sea.

According to Bill Weilbacher, he was fishing for salmon in Monterey Bay when they spotted the teens in the water.

“It was a stupid fortune to see them. We passed them at 28 knots and saw a head hitting like us,” Weilbacher said in a Facebook post.

Weilbacher said the girls were pulled out of a stream after swimming near Salinas Beach in Moss Landing.

The video shows the two girls getting on the boat and looking exhausted and grateful for the rescue.

“As you can see from the video, it was in bad shape, but it will go well,” Weilbacher wrote.
