EDIE: TONIGHT WE WANT TO SHARE MEDIA NEWS FOR OUR COLLEAGUE AND DEAR FRIEND BRIAN. HES I LEANGVI KCRA TO ACCEPT A PLACE IN SACRAMEDO SCHOOLS. Brian Heap bids farewell to KCRA 3 after 8 years. He has been a vocal supporter of viewers since joining the station and has served as an active watchdog to hold government agencies accountable in our community. Some of his most notable projects include highlighting fraud issues that the Employment Development Department, or EDD, has dealt with. He has also worked to highlight the dangers of fentanyl poison through the eyes of parents who have lost their children. His last day will be March 25th.
