The· Boiling water notice issued to the Encant area on Thursday The city of San Diego confirmed that it had been lifted on Saturday following the results of a water quality test that concluded that there was no pollution.
People living in Encant, Emerald Hills, Jamacha, and Broadway Heights-affected areas no longer need to boil tap water or use bottled water for consumption.
The City of San Diego’s utility sector has conducted water quality tests to determine if pollution has occurred during the closure of the water mains. According to the city, no contamination was found as a result of testing and monitoring.
The boiling water notice was issued Thursday after construction workers damaged the water mains near Imperial Avenue and 65th Avenue.
A city spokesperson said the notice affected about 2,100 water customers.
