Bodycam video shows event where food was laced with marijuana

Seminole County officials have released new images from the night’s body camera in which they say a bride and a caterer tied up their wedding meal with marijuana. The video, which can be seen in full above, shows MPs approaching the newlyweds after the Feb. 19 event at The Springs Clubhouse in Longwood, Florida. MPs are heard telling caterers that they need to bring dishes and food inside. “Yeah Al that sounds pretty crap to me, Looks like Al that sounds crap to me, Looks like Al that sounds crap to me, Looks like Al right now. “Apparently your food had cannabis inside it, did you guys allow that?” asks a deputy. “I have no idea,” says the groom. “I just need a yes or a no, man,” the deputy says. The groom says no, and the bride shakes her head. Officials say several people were ill. A man who called 911 said he “felt like he had drugs inside” and several guests told the first ones that the food they ate was accompanied by marijuana. The deputy is heard explaining to the bride and groom the seriousness of the situation. “The fire department is seeing some people at the entrance who are not feeling well. We could be transporting more people to the hospital for that,” he said. Wedding guest Miranda Cady told sister station WESH she was badly affected. “I thought I was having a heart attack. My heart was racing and before I went to bed that night, I slept in my car on the spot,” Cady said. Cady says a friend at his desk suspected him, “He’s like,” Are we stoned right now? “And everyone was looking around laughing and we were absolutely. We were messy like a kite.” Danya “Shea” Glenny, 42, and Joycelyn Bryant, 31, have been arrested and charged with felony felony criminal mischief, reckless negligence, and possession of marijuana. A lawyer representing the bride told WESH that he and his client are not commenting on the case. WESH also contacted the supplier, Joycelyn Bryant of Joycelyn’s Southern Kitchen in Orlando, and received no response.
