Best iPad Deals: Save $20 on iPad, $60 on iPad Air, $100 on iPad Pro

Apple has announced a new iPad Air on Wednesday an update for the only iPad that missed an update last year. The new iPad Air gets Apple’s M1 chip found in the company’s iPad Pros, along with 5G and a wide-angle front camera middle stage Auto focus video function. What it didn’t get was expanded storage – the new iPad Air models offer the same 64GB and 256GB capacities as the current versions at the same prices.

Pre-orders for the new iPad Airs opened on Friday, and the new machines will begin shipping on March 18th. Bargain hunters can save $60 on the current iPad Air, but you may be able to save even more once the new models become available and retailers clear inventory of the outgoing Airs.

That remains the cheapest iPad Ninth generation iPad, and it’s even cheaper now with its current $20 discount at Walmart. The 10.2-inch iPad features the A13 Bionic chip, Apple’s True Tone display, an improved front-facing camera and more internal storage. It rarely sees a discount. The iPad Mini is $40 off on Amazon. Like the ninth-generation iPad, the Sixth generation iPad Mini was released last fall. It features an 8.3-inch display, the A15 Bionic chip, a USB-C charging port for fast charging, and a power button with Touch ID.

The 11-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pros are now Apple’s oldest tablets. Those were the first non-Mac devices made with Apple’s patented M1 chip
when they entered the scene last spring. They’re $50 and $100 cheaper, and you can save more on the higher-capacity Pro models.

The basic 10.2-inch iPad didn’t get a design overhaul like its mini cousin, but it does offer a faster processor, a better front-facing camera, and an improved display compared to the previous eighth-generation iPad. The biggest change, however, is the storage, which has been doubled to 64GB on the base model and 256GB on the step-up model. That being said, the change you’ll most likely welcome in this age of FaceTime and Zoom calls is the front camera, which goes from 1.2-megapixels to a wider-angle 12-megapixels. It’s also added middle stage to keep your mug in frame during video calls. Most major retailers have matched Apple’s price, but you can save $20 off the base model at Walmart. We currently don’t see any price jumps for the 256 GB model.

The iPad Mini has been completely redesigned. The new design has rounded edges, thin bezels, and no home button. The power button on the side now features Touch ID, and the Lightning connector has been replaced with a USB-C charging port. It runs on the new A15 Bionic chip (like the iPhone 13) and offers an improved and slightly larger 8.3-inch display and better cameras than the old fifth-gen Mini. You can now save $40 on the base model, which is better than the $25 price cut we saw recently. Need more storage space? You can Save $50 off the 256GB model at Amazon.

The $60 discount is available at Amazon and Walmart. The $60 discount has been a regular feature for the past few weeks, and the iPad Air could be priced even lower if that’s the case new M1-based iPad Air that Apple just announced Shipping begins March 18th.
