Bear Valley Road in Apple Valley closed to repair a damaged pillar – VVNG.com

APPLE VALLEY, California (VVNG.com) – A part of the Bear Valley Road in the city of Apple Valley was closed after a traffic accident in which a pole broke.

At around 12:27 p.m., April 21, 2022, California Highway Patrol officers responded to a collision in which a silver mini man struck a pole with hanging power lines, east of Joshua Street.

According to the records of the California Highway Patrol incident, the reporting party informed that the vehicle involved was trying to pass another vehicle before the collision. The driver probably lost control and hit a pole.

Firefighters responded to secure the terrain and check to see if the man was the driver who was not injured.

Edison teams from Southern California were asked to respond to complete repairs to the damaged pillar. The eastern and western lanes of Bear Valley Road between Tujunga and Joshua streets have been blocked and will remain closed for an unknown period.

The cause of the accident is being investigated by the CHP station Victorville.
