Bakersfield City Animal Control hosting pet vaccine clinic this weekend

Bakersfield, CA (KERO) — The City of Bakersfield’s Animal Care Unit is hosting a vaccine clinic on Saturday at Justrow Park at 2900 Truxtun Ave.

The low-priced vaccine clinic is a drive-through clinic from 9am to noon. The city offers low-cost vaccines, microchips, and dog licenses. Microchips are free for all currently licensed dogs and for licensed dogs.

According to the city, summer heat is expected, so this will be the last medical treatment until September. Two clinics will be held in September to make up for the shortfall in July and August.

For more information and updates, see Animal Control Office (661) 326-3436 or Visit the city’s website.
