Asm. Kevin Kiley says Democrats do not care about helping Californians with record high gas prices –

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – The average price of a gallon of regular self-service gasoline in San Diego County rose to a record high on Thursday at $ 6,023, breaking the previous record of $ 6,018 set on March 29.

In addition, the average price per gallon across the state is over $ 6.

Lawmaker Kevin Kiley has introduced a bill to suspend the nationwide gas tax amid record prices, but Democrats in the State Assembly have knocked it down each time.

Kiley still sees no support from Democrats for his state-wide gas tax suspension legislation.
