Ahmaud Arbery has been sentenced on August 1 to three white men convicted of federal crimes of hate and murder.
Father and son Greg and Travis McMichael and their neighbors, William “Roddie” Bryan, have each been sentenced to life in prison each in February after a federal jury ruled that in 2020 the Black Man’s racial impetus was prompted.
McMichaels and Bryan are serving life sentences in state courts for murder sentences.
McMichael was armed and used a truck to chase Arbery while he was running in the Georgia neighborhood.
Bryan came in from behind and recorded a video of Travis McMichael exploding with an Arbery shotgun.
The date of the judgment may change.
The prosecutor asked the judge to postpone the trial date to August 6 due to a scheduling dispute.
