APPLE VALLEY, California (VVNG.com) – A 61-year-old prisoner from Apple Valley arrested for continuous sexual abuse of a minor was admitted to hospital due to health problems and passed away, officials said.

Officials said Alexander Madridhe was arrested on December 9, 2021 by the Apple Valley Police Department and was in the West Valley Detention Center.

According to a press release, on February 11, 2022, Madrid began to have health problems that were “probably related to pre-existing health conditions.”

According to the sheriff’s statement, “Madrid was seen by prison medical staff and then transported by ambulance to the Arrowhead Regional Medical Center. He remained in hospital care and on Friday, March 18, 2022, he was declared deceased. “
