The Asia Pacific Medical Technology Association (APACMed) welcomes the new Executive Committee (ExCo) in India. “ExCo will continue to engage with regulators, policy makers, healthcare professionals, industry members, and other stakeholders to facilitate patient access to innovative and life-saving healthcare technologies. It will improve the outcome of patient care, “we notified the association through a statement.
The schedule for ExCo in India is as follows:
- Pavan Mocherla, MD, Becton Dickinson India, South Asia, Chair
- Meenakshi Nevatia, MD, Stryker India as Vice Chairman
- Narendra Varde, MD, Roche India & Neighboring Markets as Vice-Chairperson
The statement further states: “Established in 2014, APAC Med is the only regional association to provide a unified voice to the MedTech industry in the Asia Pacific region, representing both multinational and small businesses and several locals throughout the region. Representing industry associations .. ExCo is built on the association’s mission to promote innovation and impact policies that promote medical access for patients in India. “
