Community leaders, elected officials and artists from South Los Angeles joined Council member Marquis Harris-Dawson in celebrating her former employee, Dina R. Andrews, at a farewell gathering as she moved from Council 8 County to EmpowerLA / Department to empower the neighborhood.

Attendees included members of the Empowerment Congress West Neighborhood Council, Baldwin Hills Estates Homeowners Association, Park Mesa Heights Neighborhood Council and 78th / 79th Street Block Club.
