Amazon has appointed the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) to a against the decision of its employees to organize in a union at its warehouse on Staten Island in New York, Forbes reported late Friday.

Amazon has claimed the NLRB used tactics such as voter suppression – including only three voting booths for thousands of employees – bribes and threats to get employees to vote for unionization, according to Forbes, citing Amazon’s objections on Friday.

Amazon and the NLRB did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Warehouse worker in Staten Island voted last week to join the new Amazon Union in the US first, with the vote falling to 2,654 to 2,131.
