Amanda Bynes Very Interested in Doing ‘What I Like About You’ Revival

Amanda Bynes may return to the small screen sooner or later – he says he may be interested in going back to the TV business … in his own sitcom, no less.

A one-time child star – recently released from a years-long conservatory – tells TMZ … yes, he’s “very interested” in the possible revival of his WB series “What I Like About You”. a fan favorite that lasted 4 through the early 2000s.

He adds, “I think it’s a great idea to restart the show,” while he protects himself a bit – explaining that he hasn’t spoken Leslie Grossman or Jennie Garth about it yet.

Still, there’s definitely hope here – AB says, “I miss them and would like to work with them again. I don’t like acting, but I loved this show, so I’ll be back to acting because of this awakening. It would be a great experience to continue the show.”

It’s a pretty big deal … especially considering that Garth himself recently said something the same way – namely, expressed an interest in getting the gang back together.

He pointed in podcast interview he wasn’t going to drop Amanda off – and now he might even want to take the phone if he hesitated before … because his old chef sounds like he could easily jump aboard for that.

Of course, more than just their common interest in getting a possible reboot from the field and on television is needed – there has to be a studio that wants to produce it.
